Jinny Jessica Jacinto - Performer


Jinny Jessica Jacinto received her professional training at the National Circus School in Montreal. From 1990 until 1997 she was part of Cirque du Soleil's Four Contortionists, performing in the shows Nouvelle Expérience, Fascination and Saltimbanco, all of which toured throughout North America, Asia and Europe. The Foursome were gold medallists at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de l'Avenir in Paris, as well as the Circus Festival of Monte Carlo.
Since 1997, Jinny has embarked on a flourishing career as a solo artist.

Her performances have been broadcast internationally in a large variety of productions, ranging from galas to television programs, theatre productions and films.
Furthermore, Jinny performed in Music For Contortionist, presented at the Shaw Festival in Toronto, as well as the 1997 Grammy nominated film Satie and Suzanne.
In 2000 Jinny returned as a guest artist at Cirque du Soleil, performing her solo act in Quidam.

Her love for the art of the contortion, has led her to create many unique performances, in which rhythm is fuelled by passion, exploring the emotional content present in this fascinating art form.
